Courgette is a rather unusual nickname, but when your Mum gave it to you, who just died, you tend to like. In the children's home where Courgette ends up he gets to know other children with a similar fate. There's a lot to explore and to learn: having friends, talk about life, crack jokes - and perhaps even be happy!

Claude Barras
was born in 1973 in Sierre, Switzerland. He studied illustration, computer graphics, anthropology and digital images in Lyon. Today he works as a freelance illustrator in Geneva.
