Oktober November

In a small village in the Austrian Alps there is a hotel, now no longer in use. Two sisters grew up here. Sonja now lives in Berlin and has become a successful actress, a TV star. She has achieved a lot in a short time – but something seems to be missing from her early thirties life. Her sister Verena, who is a little older, has never left the village. After their mother died she and her family moved back to the hotel, to live with her father. Still a patriarch, he has grown old and surly. When he just about survives a major heart attack, it is high time for Sonja to visit her family. A new chapter begins, old conflict-laden relationships are reconfigured, but the cercanity of death also holds an unforeseen serenity in store ...
