The turning point

A polish woman seems to recognize the ss-soldier who murdered her daughter in young German prisoner-of-war Mark Niebuhr. Without being informed about this accusation, Niebuhr is brought into a polish prison and questioned for weeks. Forced to share a cell with Polish prisoners, the supposed SS-murderer is in imminent danger. When he is transferred to a cell populated by his compatriots he believes himself safe - but the young soldier who professes his innocence is yet to find out he is now among murderers and criminals of war.
